  2. That is such an awesome article, and your guys house is gorgeous! My partner and I are in the middle of making our tiny home, and have the same dream as you to use it as a stepping stone to get some land and build a home on the ground.

  4. I came across your story a couple weeks ago and have been reading back on your blogs, and I just wanted to say that you are truly an inspiration. Your "Can Do" attitude and your willingness to just figure it out are amazing. I see so many young couples and watch them conforming to what society has told them their lives should look like, and then I see the both of you and it gives me hope. You have figured out the true key to it all, stuff is just that, "stuff". And stuff doesn't bring you happiness, experiences bring you happiness. And when you are not so focused on working so hard to earn money to buy more stuff, you free so much time for experiences. Unfortunately it has taken me 43 years to figure that out, and my wife and I are finally working toward fixing that! Thank you for sharing!

    1. Dear Sir,

You are an angel. I can think of no better word at the moment. The last few weeks have been incredibly busy and tumultuous. My self confidence was flip flopping all over the place, which clearly means I lost perspective for a moment. Then I checked my emails and saw there was a comment. I always cringe a little at this- most people are nice and decent, but there are trolls as well. I read your words and they brought tears to my eyes. All the memories of the feats we accomplished over the last two years came flooding back and suddenly I was extremely proud and awe struck as I looked back on certain things and thought, "Did I really do that? Wow." So thank you thank you thank you for taking the time to read our story and commend us. It means more to me than I could ever express. Good luck to you and your wife on your journey losing stuff and gaining experience. :)
